10 members of the UK and Ireland Golf Society gathered at Hampstead golf Club for the society's autumn meeting. The course was new to many of us but as it is only a nine-hole course we were able to learn much about its quirky nature the first time around. Generally the weather was good although they were a couple of torrential downpours which certainly made playing conditions challenging.

The Men's tournament was won by Mikey Balkin, with Ollie Rawlings losing out on count back and with Scott Wilson a creditable third. The Ladies tournament was won by our newest member, Lynn Cherkas with Danielle Alexander finishing runner-up.

That is the end of the 2021 golfing season and we look forward to our first event in 2022 which will be our Spring meeting. More details to follow nearer the time
